Use a clear main image and honest detail photos

The app offers a 1600 × 1600 square export and a 1600 × 900 wide alternative. These are convenient starting sizes; consult eBay’s current photo guidance for its full requirements.

Keep corners, accessories, and any wear visible. A tidy crop should not remove a flaw a buyer needs to see. For long tools or wide boxed items, use the wide preset or Fit instead of squeezing the item into a square.

App export presets

Presets are starting points, not guarantees of marketplace acceptance. Pixel dimensions and file size are different: JPEG size targets can reduce quality while preserving dimensions.

Crop or keep the whole photo?

For a pair of shoes, check that both toes and heels remain visible. Export a main view and separate detail photos for the sole, size label, and any wear.

In the editor, drag the crop selection or adjust its four corners. Use Keep whole photo to add background padding. Crop-risk warnings estimate contrasting detail; they can miss an item or flag background detail, so always check the preview yourself.

Batch workflow

1. Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP originals.
2. Select eBay and any other destinations.
3. Choose dimensions, format, and an optional JPEG file-size target.
4. Review every crop and process the batch. Cancel if needed; completed exports remain available.
5. Download the ZIP organized by marketplace and preset.
